Vallone di Sea is one of the most remote and uncontaminated places in all the Alps. Shaped by the strength of the glaciers, it has a characteristic "U" shape with sides that are closed off by imposing vertical walls and suspended valleys. Venturing here means entering a place where you can breathe the imposing force of nature. The only human sign is constituted by some groups of notable gias, used as shelters for the animals that graze during the summer. Even today, during the hottest months, herds can still be found here. However the arched stone vaults of the shelters that house them begin to yield to the passage of time and harsh winters.
